arlo is a marketplace for local artists, built as an app for iOS. It connects the people who make things by hand with the people near them who want to buy them, without either side going through a gallery or a global storefront.
Discover artists near you. Browse the makers working in your city, with their story and their whole body of work gathered on one profile.
Shop original pieces. Every piece is listed by the artist who made it. Save the ones you like and follow the makers behind them.
Find exhibitions and events. See where artists are showing next, from markets to open studios, and let them know you are coming.
Talk to the maker. Message an artist directly about a piece, a commission, or where they will be showing near you.
arlo lets you create an account with Google, Apple or Facebook. Signing in with Google gives arlo your name, email address and profile picture, which are used to set up your profile so artists recognise you when you message them. arlo never posts to your Google account and asks for no other Google data.
