Everything on this page is about the arlo app for iPhone. If the answer you need is not below, write to us — a real person reads every message.
Email support@followarlo.com. We reply within 24 hours, in English or in French. The same address handles account questions, artist applications, and anything you would rather not put in a public message.
These are the same answers the app shows under Profile > Help & support > FAQ.
arlo is a marketplace for local artists, built as a free app for iOS — browse pieces from the artists and makers around you, meet them at events in your city, and message them directly. Everything you see comes from real people, not an assembly line.
arlo is live in multiple cities across France, including Paris and Lyon, with more added over time. Open the app and pick your city — or browse another one — to see the artists, pieces and events near you.
Yes — arlo is free to download and free to use, for buyers and artists alike. There’s no subscription and no fee to browse, message or apply as an artist; you and the artist arrange payment for a piece directly between yourselves.
arlo doesn’t handle payments in the app. When a piece catches your eye, tap Message on its page to start a conversation with the artist — you agree on payment and pickup or delivery directly with them.
Tap the heart on a piece, follow an artist from their profile, or RSVP to an event. You’ll find them all in your Saved tab, under Pieces, Artists and Events.
Every event page has an RSVP button — tap Interested to keep track of an event, and tap it again to change your mind. Artists planning to exhibit see Going instead.
In your Profile, tap “Sell your work on arlo” and send the short application — it takes about 2 minutes. We review every application and let you know as soon as you’re approved.
Apply from your Profile — tap “Sell your work on arlo” and send the short seller application, which takes about 2 minutes. Once approved, you can list pieces, host events and message buyers directly. It’s 0% commission during launch, and you arrange payment and delivery directly with the buyer.
Yes — arlo is available in English and French. Choose yours under Profile → Language, or leave it on System default. Piece descriptions, artist bios and event details written in another language also show a See translation button.
Open the ⋯ menu on a piece, an event, an artist profile or a conversation and choose the report option. For a problem with the app itself, use Report a problem on the Help & support screen.
Go to Profile and tap Delete account, the last row below Log out. Deleting is permanent — it removes your account and all your data.
